I made 5+ new year's resolutions for 09.

1. is a secret
2. learn to be ambidextrous
3. be more focused
4. buy more furniture
5. cut negative shit out of my life.

there's more but I mostly forget. 09 baby. this is my year. this new year's I was drinking champagne in a basement & really thinking hard. I dunno what it is. election or personal life or world or what. but I felt like this is the year. the year for...? I can't say. but it feels like a changing sort of year. it was this weird suspended feeling, & my throat got tight, & I watched the fireworks thinking, it's changing. it's over. it was chilly & weird & I've never felt so strange on new year's before. it was always a screw off celebration, but this year there was some funky significance attached to it. maybe it comes with being older or maybe it comes from the state of my life. but I felt it, man. no, for real.
no more fightning. no more struggles. no more confrontations, feeling guilty; no more upset stupid thinking blaming, etc. it's time to get real.

2009 I will be 23. even that has some significance. maybe I should go back to bed.

last night I made cinnamon crusted greek chicken. explosions of flavor! I felt like I was eating at the olive garden, only... greek.

The song Tricky just came up on my MP3 player and I thought of you.

Charles did this song recently at karaoke and it was great. The music was all midi files, so there was no backbeat; he basically did a spoken word version of it, ala Shatner. To top it off, the video that played on the tv seemed to be scenes from a yacht club, with guys wearing sweaters tied over their shoulders and rowing around in a harbor.

It's aight, you know. I tell them about America and how people have guns and they get afraid and ask if I worry about getting shot. I tell them no, because I have guns of my own and I have really good aim. It's a good time.
I really miss good milk and having a clothes dryer. All of my socks and underwear are frozen out on our porch.
Still, Chinese people are an endless wealth of entertainment, what with their drunken antics and such.

I'd airmail you some good milk but... I dunno if it would make it within the expiration date. & everything in america has salmonella right now so I would be leery even of milk. I'm drinking straight water.

good luck unfreezing your underpants.
